Very hectic today coz I was so anxious...gonna do d emcee-ing for the lower primary prize giving ceremony and my fear was mispronouncing the Chinese names..well..u know..now they have fanciful names...d kind u wonder if they need to be pronounced in English or Greek..u know wat i mean????Anyways, all went smoothly with my sweet co-compere, Joey Ang, who was in 'scales' n i was 'lost in a jungle'....u know i was really happy seeing d kids getting their prizes...made me feel so proud of them coz they really deserved the awards.And so...after the whole ceremony...which was a great PHEW!!!...time for a party with my class. I ordered KFC to much of their delight..well..i call it a friendship party in which they shared each piece of the chicken with their partners...so 16 pieces...enough to go around..but me...i was left with nothing...i guess my kids were all starving that day. It really slipped my mind that d crispy one was actually hot n they were sipping water every now n then...but they simply love eating the chicken...muz b d feeling of eating with a friend that had actually made d meal very appetizing to them.Why KFC??Well...my class had really worked sooo hard..n me too..of coz..out of 30 pupils,I have 16 band 1 for English and 25 Band 1 for Maths...and i have given them a useful tip to do well in Maths...it was K.F.C...well...K for keywords, F for figures(numbers) and C for check calculations n they had applied it so well that d result was astounding!! I am sooo happy...d best prize ever coming from my pupils!! So...KFC anyone??Check your Maths ahhhh!!
